Efforts of Bharatiya Parvatiya Mahasabha and Entire Uttarakhand Society Bear Fruit, “Uttarakhand Bhawan” Dedicated to the Community

GZB. On Sunday, 16 May 2026, an important meeting of the Uttarakhand community was organized in Ghaziabad under the chairmanship of the Hon’ble meeting. During the meeting, it was officially announced that the “Uttarakhand Bhawan” located at Nandgram would now be completely dedicated to the Uttarakhand community.

Municipal Commissioner expressed gratitude

On this occasion, the Hon’ble Municipal Commissioner expressed gratitude towards all social organizations, community leaders, and members of the Uttarakhand society who had continuously worked for years for the construction and operationalization of the Bhawan. Special appreciation was extended towards the efforts and active role of Dr. Anupam Singh Bhandari, National President of Bharatiya Parvatiya Mahasabha.

It is noteworthy that when the Delhi-NCR team of Bharatiya Parvatiya Mahasabha came to know that despite several efforts the functioning of Uttarakhand Bhawan could not be initiated, the organization raised the matter seriously. Subsequently, under the leadership of National President Dr. Anupam Singh Bhandari, the central executive committee submitted a memorandum to Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath Ji demanding the immediate commencement of operations at the Bhawan. Taking prompt cognizance of the matter, the Hon’ble Chief Minister directed the concerned officials to take necessary action.

It may also be recalled that the historic announcement regarding the construction of Uttarakhand Bhawan was made from the stage of Mahakauthik, for which the Uttarakhand community expressed gratitude towards Shri Rajendra Chauhan Ji and the entire Mahakauthik team.

On this occasion, the contributions of Shri Dinesh Lakheda Ji, Shri Sachchidanand Sharma Ji, former Councillor Smt. Meena Bhandari Ji, Shri Balam Singh Bisht Ji, and Hon’ble Councillor Shri Harish Kadakoti Ji, along with several senior members and social workers, were highly appreciated.

The efforts and dedication of the Delhi-NCR unit of Bharatiya Parvatiya Mahasabha, including Shri Abhinav Singh Bhandari Ji, Shri Bhuvan Chand Pandey Ji, Shri Rohit Rawat Ji, Shri Deepak Rawat Ji, Shri Satish Bhardwaj Ji, Shri Anil Verma Ji, Shri B.D. Upareti Ji, and Shri Hemant Joshi Ji, were also specially acknowledged.

The Mahasabha further stated that the community’s efforts regarding membership-related matters and certain important demands associated with the operation of the Bhawan would continue in the future as well.
